Inline Content Editors
I'm looking for a content editor to use in the CMS that is easy to use and creates semantic, clean, non-depricated HTML or XHTML. I really want the kind of customizability that will allow the content editor to insert visually-structured content, such as pullquotes, image captions, etc. Thirdly, the ability to allow the insertion of custom smarty tags for specific functionality like audio players and slideshows—I envision a kind of insertion form that allows the content parameters to be defined, and then generates the tag. It also needs to be able to go back and edit the tag in the same way.
This is an ongoing research project.
